Switch the cable to the other usb. I had one that stopped working but the other one continued to operate.

edit: I did not see anything in the Adobe photoshop troubleshooting readme file that seemed to match your issue.

Try using the software that came with your camera to download. If it also shows the error then remove all the drivers and the download software for your camera (not adobe). Reboot and follow windows guide to reinstall the camera software.

I have 3 USB devices and they all seem to get in a mess every few months. I have to uninstall them all and then add them one by one. Most annoying.
