Arrow North American Computer Products (NACP) group launched an Enterprise Storage Solutions initiative in North America.

Franchised with all enterprise computing and storage platforms, Arrow NACP says it wants to be able to provide a complete enterprise-level storage offering to its solution providers.

"This approach allows us to offer one pipeline, customized to each customer's business needs," said Jim Markisohn, vice president of business development at Arrow NACP, in a statement. "Arrow is the only distributor providing this breadth and depth of computing and storage offerings for resellers and solution providers."

As part of the initiative, Arrow is offering its customers storage-dedicated and certified sales and engineering teams, as well as "hands-on," centrally located labs for evaluating platforms and solutions from various manufacturers.

The distributor also plans to provide equipment for performance benchmarking and interoperability testing, training on next-generation technologies and storage-specific marketing programs.

To build up its enterprise storage technical prowess, Arrow NACP is under a massive recruiting effort to attract more qualified technicians and engineers.

"As we continue to drive our business through this economic slowdown, we, like other companies, have been tightening our belt," said Mike Long, president and COO of Arrow NACP, in a statement. "However, Arrow, as it always does, makes key investments in areas of great potential that support our resellers, helping them grow faster
