Anyone care to comment on appraisers who are pressured to give very high values on houses, so their client [a mortgage broker] could issue a large mortgage, collect fees, and then sell it to someone else?

I know of 3 appraisers who pump up values of low 60K- 150K housing.

Does anyone see this as a problem, or is it business as usual
