The value of deposits like Antimina is primarily its size and polymetallic nature. Grade, in this case, is of secondary importance. It's not high or low grade in any of the contained metals but its size assures that it will probably produce through several cycles of high and low metal prices. This fact increases the chance of getting a reasonable return on capital. This is why the big mining companies are big because they control the big deposits. Deposits like Antimina make big companies over the long term.
