RE:"I honestly feel that some people try to egg me (without obvious violation of rules in this thread) so they get suspended. That way they can cry foul, blah blah blah. Some people want to follow Paul, regardless of what he does."

Everytime you kick Paul, they seem to come over and egg you on. The rules state that 3 times and your gone. You gave Paul only 2 weeks...I don't know how they can even say you are selective.
A few apologies around here and there would never be a need for a suspension.
Sad thing is that these guys are smart, experts in what they do...
Actually I thank all those that actually take the time to express their opinion,....like Tench, BMW, Tony and others.

It's also a bit frustrating to see AMD miss the boat with regards to the effect of that wide a Mhz gap.
Unfortunately, what we are going to see is high speed P4s 1.4s 1.5s etc, coupled with SDRAM, put in e-machine or similar boxes completely degrading the retail PC market.
The likes of Compaq, HP, Gateway, Dell are going to have a hard time selling P4 w/rambus...
Consumers will simply not understand.
This also hurts AMD...a 1.5 Ghz P4 E-machine w/sdram looks like a bargain vs a Compaq Athlon 1.3 w/ddr...

Hi mani Ahmadi; Re: "I have grown such a thick skin, nothing seem to bother me much anymore."

Posting on the RMBS thread has given me an unbelievably thick skin. A polite person would be stunned at what they post down on the Yahoo Rambus thread, a small amount of which is directed at me. I guess it's a good thing that I'm no longer a polite person.

Sorry for the off topic, but there sure are a lot of them tonight.

Here's a suggestion: You should ban people more or less at random, the way that traffic police pull people over. In other words, don't try and make sure that you ban the worst perpetrator first. Instead, whenever you see any behavior that needs to be corrected, just ban the guy for a week. If someone points someone else out, don't bother to ban them, cause, like the traffic police, you didn't see them directly. We'd have a much more polite thread, but more importantly, it would be much more on topic.
