SirReal: here it is! Silicon Valley Slang Dictionary is back up.

sabram.com

Check out the 'favorites.' -g- Mine include 'Deadfish Idaho' and 'Nerd Bird' .... but there are so many that are so funny.

The condescension is palpable ... which I find also very funny. And interesting. Perhaps I'm somewhat of a nerd/geek myself ... sans any interest or real ability in programming, etc. As a user and as an 'investor' in tech it provides interesting perspective on what might really go on within these companies.

At about the same time a few years ago that I discovered this site, I read a book -- Oh! here's a book some here might also enjoy -- similar 'genre' re Silicon Valley tech employee perspectives ...

'The First 20 Million is Always the Hardest.'

by Po Bronson.

He was formerly a bonds trader and then a writer for 'Wired' magazine.

His first book is great as well ... about bonds trading.

'The Bombardiers.'

Novels, these are.
