There is no difference whatever in male and female thinking per se where this issue is concerned. The difference is between those who think what penni described... to blame negative or opposing opinions to one;s own on these differences rather than intelligent thought is the height of arrogance and control is fine and those who don't, and that is not a gender thing. It's conceptual, philosophical, ethical-- a values-thing. Certain of your confreres who thought it was boffo-funny don't laugh because they are male (you want some males to attest that they didn't laugh? it will be those who respect women, and I assure you, my husband didn't laugh when i showed the RWET post to him) they laugh because they are.... what they are, and their laughs were not loving ones, they were insulting ones. I'm through with this subject.
