Technical Analysis by Pring I believe is a good one. Pretty much all of them are about the same until you start specializing in a particular method but read an over all book first to get the gist of it. Once you find a method that interests you, get it from the horses mouth so you read Nisson on candlesticks ( Or Don -ggg- ), Dorsey on P&F etc.

"Trading for a Living" touches on the generalities of it as well as going into money management etc. For free sites The www.equis.com site has a "A to Z" tutorial that has a lot of info and www.litwik.com has a good candle stick quick course.

Good Luck,

Lee

Hopefully someone else has some good ones also as I am kind of busy right at the moment.

The best of the bunch is "Technical Analysis Plain & Simple" by Kahn. With respect to Claud, indicators are of little use to someone starting out. Learn TA first: support, resistance, and patterns.
