There may be some weakness developing on the wireless handset side. Depending on how investors interpret AMD's comments on flash memory, flash vendors such as ATML, SNDK, SSTI could be impacted. 13:08 ET Advanced Micro (AMD) 14.30 -0.56 (-3.8%): -- Update -- Speaking at Wit Soundview Semiconductor Conference, Sales & Marketing officer Rob Herb maintains that Q3 sales of flash memory products will decline by approx. 30% from Q2; sees total rev. declining in the 15% range vs the minus 10%-15% range previously projected; sees loss for the qtr (est. already -$0.08).

Tick today at maximum of -586 and often in positive territory despite the fact that the DOW(and NAZ) couldn't lift off lows. Doesn't feel like any bottom! Watch out...when this consolidation at low break down! Stefan
