Clinton is a light-weight compared to Bush when it comes to deflection. But yes Clinton was good at it too. School uniforms, bombing Iraq during the impeachment trial, etc. Thing is there never should have been an impeachment trial to begin with. Whitewater itself was a mass of extremely partisan disinformation and character assassination disguised as justice. All lies and innuendos which turned up nothing but a lie about a BJ in the Oval Office. Which is why Clinton left office with a 60% approval rating.
