In terms of value, QCOM is on the high end. Longs will argue it's because of "leadership", management, execution, etc., that translates into huge growth. These arguments used to justify a price based on future p/e's and p/s's are no longer valid in this market.

For my longs, I'd prefer something with a 20 PE than 75 PE. For shorts, I like the 75 PE's especially on days that they make big moves up.

Just my opinion.....
