Yorrike, That's great, a real Spam exchange on the Internet. I, for one, was a huge fan of SPAM in my youth. Though I was in Illinois, and thus not the true afficionado like the fine citizens of Oahu or Murmansk, I did savor the subtle spicing and palliative pickling of that pork by-product and ham trimming concoction. I found it best when fried in bacon drippings. Do you have a favorite recipe to share? I feel your pain about good theories gone bad. Frankly, more brine in the pickling would save a lot of them.
