I hate to say it but you are right.

And due to the amazing ineptitude of AMD's management they are about to destroy any chance of becoming a major player in the lucrative CPU biz.

Windsock special reminder;
computers are to compute. There are a number of other devices that can have oscillating frequency higher than 2GHz at much cheaper price
