Anybody know if RDram speeds are mixable?
I think I remeber reading that as long as the
size (in MBs) is the same and the m/b accepts it,
PC 600, PC 700 and PC 800 RDram are compatible
but they'll run at the slower speed. I emailed
Dell the question today. PC 800 is about 1/3
cheaper than PC 700. As soon as get an answer I'm
going to order 128 MBs doubling what I have then
I'll setup the W2K ramdrive. I'll report back when
I'm done. I can't believe 128 MBs of RDram is around
$50 now. 11 months ago it was around $480 from Dell and
$400 everywhere else.

Good response time and would be,for me,an acceptable answer.
