In regards to Natural Gas pricing,$2 Nymex is break even for most companies especially U.S based outfits.
Perhaps we may see an North American Opec style determination to defend gas prices by withholding production very soon?
They may have no choice in October to shut down some wells if storage is at capacity.
It would be unfortunate if the gassy companies go back to the days of giving away their production and losing money for every mcf sold.
Not a way to run a business.
Most of them have solid balance sheets and are not under any pressure to produce flat out to satisfy their bankers.
For that reason a great buying opportunity is shaping up within a few months or less?
