two or three years ago Jerry had made about $0 in stock option and Barrett made $120mil. AMD performed well last year and hence Jerry made money - as simple as that.

Do you wonder if Barrett would take a pay cut ? or why Barrett isn't taking a pay cut in this downturn ?

I sense a double standard here. I am not Jerrys fan, but I dont think its fair to trash him on the points you made.

However, IMO, what Sanders did in Q2 was not right (sold his stock in June and then warned as late as in early July).
