Eww, i'm glad you said that, I didn't elaborate enough. What I meant was when you had talked several times about GTC's to (ideally) be able to exit positions in case the thing goes to hell quick. I actually put some in today seeing as the amount of DOW down was quite a surprise. Add a Japanese bank failure, or a mid-east bombing midday on top of the down action and anything could happen. However, I'm glad my obtuseness triggered an interesting post from you on long strategy under DOWN circumstances. Thanks -dave.
