SP500 just broke last weeks low. This does not bode well for the overall market.

Still getting an indeterminate signal on the SOX and COMPX.

Hi Harry. Perhaps we end up firming up ~1800 with a downside risk of 1775. I don't think we are going to re-test the April lows(April 4th low of 1620 : #reply-16272586). It could happen but I don't think it would. I am thinking if traders are anticipating a recovery in early 2002 buying the dips now (at higher than April lows) makes more sense (now) than it did almost five months ago in early April.

There are a couple of tech conferences in early Sept. They should help us figure out where the bottom is.
