he is content to let brees' misrepresentations stand. Well, Poet, at least you're consistent. You accused jla of homophobia in part because he didn't refute a homophobic post. I am "intellectually dishonest" and "desperate" because I didn't refute brees's post, but suggested that brees post it for comment on the thread where the posts he quoted were originally posted so the people who made the original comments would have the chance to see whether he had properly understood their meaning. Somehow I had missed the concept that I was supposed to be the intellectual surrogate for you (yes, he did quote you) and E (whom he also quoted). I guess I thought you were capable of defending your own point of view; I know E is. It escapes me why you feel you need to rely on a man you don't even post to any more to defend your intellectual honor. I guess, though, I should be flattered that you think I can do a better job of representing your position than you can. Talk about intellectual dishonesty. I don't think I'm the one with that problem here. Of course you won't read this since presumably you've put me back on ignore -- you only take me off ignore long enough to try to find something to get mad at, but put me back on ignore before you get confused by the facts. If that's your definition of intellectual honesty, you're not reading the same dictionary the rest of us are.
