I have always loved clucking.
The sounds chickens make are very sweet.
Geese's honking annoys me. But chickens have a lovely domestic sound. imo. Much better than damn barking dogs or the horrible yowl of cats. The gentle cluck of a domestic chicken. What better animal could there be? It eats snails, it lays eggs, it produces fine fertilizer, and it is tasty when baked, broiled, or fried. Could there be a more noble animal? Ben Franklin was wrong. Our national bird should not have been the Turkey, it should have been the chicken.
