The stage is set perfectly for Bush to set up a re-examinination of every line item in the budget and ask, "This or SS? What'll it be?

As a former farmer who was unfortunate enough to be close to Eau Claire, WI I would applaud that move. Let everyone sink or swim and what you have left will be sound business's. Much different from what you have now that is for sure.

If they ever look into the amount of money squandered, lost, stolen and mismanaged at FHA/FMHA, it will make the S&L debacle look like chump change.
