Thanks John, I didn't know it was so detailed. It sounds inventive to me. As they say, success has 100 fathers and failure is an orphan. Having read it, it's amazing how primitive things were in 1945, which is only just prehistoric as far as I'm concerned. Progress in 55 years has been amazing, though steady, so almost imperceptible on a day by day basis. We adapt very quickly to new things. The rate of progress is increasing. It was very slow 50 years ago. Now there are 5 billion people all going like mad and with a lot better technology with which to go like mad. Mq
