Sler,

Yes I do have Zonealarm, no IE6.0 didn't ask to be permitted. I had no problem accessing Internet, but went in the config, to allow it anyway, as well as the Outlook2000. Those worked fine for me, the browser seemed lot faster. The problem arose with the network, no way I could see any computers even after several installs. The hub splitting the DSL signal, worked fine, but no network. Yet, once I removed IE6.0 all is OK in IE5.5 with the same setups?
So it has to be IE6.0, it also changed the registry settings for Outlook 2000, so that wouldn't work in IE5.5.
Later on I will try it again, maybe on a new box with
Outlook Express 6.0 only and not with the network present.
I also use Tiny Personal Firewall along with Zonealarm, no
conflicts and passed Gibson's test with flying colors.
