That kind of maneuver seems to be the norm for her. Last week she asked me what I thought of a fictitious political commentary TV show. I answered with caveat. She then went on to misrepresent my answer to others, never noting my caveat. It's not a big deal, but certainly smacks of disingenuousness.

You said he pulled that 'crap' all the time with you. I took that to mean you were acknowledging it to be crap. You weren't, I see <g>. And 'not quite' accurate? LOL, dude. You defined yourselves beautifully in that exchange! I see I was WRONG in thinking that by your saying "pulled crap like that" and 'inaccurate,' (I indicated they were not said in a single phase) you were indicating that you alone among the troglodytes felt brees post was both 'crap' and 'inaccurate.' I was WRONG! -- so I may now conclude that you now have joined the position that brees's post re X was neither 'crap' of the sort he pulls on you all the time, nor 'inaccurate.' Only 'slightly' inaccurate, and perhaps not crap, I now understand. Neocon, defender of brees! Wanting to clear his petticoats of brees's outrageousness yet yearning so to be at one with the troglodytes, his only fans. By the way, I do know now that you don't think that brees's claim that X 'mentioned' something about herself she didn't was "inaccurate crap" (this time I use it as a phrase, the first word the adjective to the noun 'crap,') -- but I'd also love to hear you say that bree's post on The Yellow Wallpaper discussion was not both crap and inaccurate. Do it. Say it wasn't both crap and inaccurate. Add that it wasn't scurrilous and moronic.
