Rational expectations was really hard to swallow:

When I learnt that rational expectations is:

"The assumption that the behaviour of economic agents is based on an understanding of the economy, and a forecast of future events,..." I almost fall from my chair.

Even my five and half year old daughter wouldn't base any decision on such an assumption!

CB, Lawyers are people who can justify anything in tortuous gibberish.

<Economists are people who can justify political policies in technical language.>

Engineers are people who can achieve things in objective language.

PS: How about that cool pun 'tortuous' [in case it slips past inattentive readers].http://www.dictionary.com/cgi-bin/dict.pl?term=tortuous
