Jim
it is irrelevant to fight in a big corp. I told him that he is wrong. He told me that he may be wrong but the policy of the company is to buy dell. If dell would make athlon computers he would be more than happy to buy athlon for me but he will not buy it from any other vendor. Policy is almost as good as law so it is illegal to buy non-dell systems
The funny thing is that I spoke to dell reps as well and they told me that they understand that athlon might be better but it the policy of the dell not to make any athlon systems
Regards
-Albert

Jim,

Re: "I think you can see how entrenched Intel is in the corporate world."

Exactly, my friend ... If consumer confidence "heads south" then
AMD is in for a real "shocker" ... Many, many quarters of "red".

Make It So,
Yousef
