Part of that is due to declining liquidity in options these days.

The bid for CSCO Sep 20 puts is indeed below intrinsic value at $4.10. That's beyond cheap. But the offer is trading with a 68 volatility ($4.30) which is more in line with where the option should trade.

Liquidity in the options markets has gotten pretty ugly lately. If the ugly market in general continues, that lack of liquidity might overflow into the equity market, which would really bum me out.

Good deal, I bought the 17.5 and 15 puts, doubled my long holdings on the 15's. Not much good news out there. Guess I think it will go lower than you. Made a bundle on IBM, MSFT and VRTS puts. Also bought back CSCO cc's for a nice profit. good luck.knc

It's strange that I don't smell any fear and blood, which is a strong indication that we are going much lower.

Larry, it was most orderly all day wasn't it. No panic just steady. I agree that we have a long way to go FWIW.
