It's true when you look at just the NASDAQ from 1991 or so, it gives an excellent imitation of the Dow of the 1920s. It may get through its bear sooner--but then the stocks in it may get such a bad reputation that no one will buy them for many years, as happened with some Dow stocks.

It will be an excellent chance to make some smart picks. I am not sure that I would be smart enough to do that.
