Just look to see whether I CLAIM THEY ARE SELF-ATTRIBUTIONS. One may present one's impressions, opinions, or conclusions, as we all do, all the time, without saying "IMO" or "Note that this is a conclusion!" beforehand, I assume you agree. If I were to say "JLA, brees, Neocon and others on this thread are trogolodytes," that would be my opinion, an extrapolation, a characterization that would not be the same as saying "JLA, brees, Neocon, etc. have frequently mentioned that they consider themselves trogolodytes, or have repeatedly mentioned that they belong to the Trogolodyte Society, or have mentioned that they share the intellectual and ethical values of primitive man." Do you understand this distinction, Christopher? I assume you understand this, since you are the only one here who did not defend and/or obfuscate brees's attribution to X herself of his conclusions. Do you disagree with what I have written here? Do you understand the difference between characterizing someone, or giving an opinion about them, and claiming you are offering their own statements about themselves?
