NYCB,
The hardcore fact of the matter is , and people should not forget this is, Greenspan cannot begin to replace the 5 trillion plus that he has bilked out of investors pockets, even Bush's 1.7 trillion tax cut (170 billion cut for ten years) pales into insignificance compared to what investors lost last year.
An interesting note of interest, Goerge Soros has been reported to have taken all his $$$ out of stocks- lock, stock,& barrel.
With rising bankruptcies and foreclosures, look for many major banks suffer great losses due to corp. bankruptcies, this will have dramatic negative ramifications to the real estate sector.JP Morgan Chase, Bank Of America to name a few.

Regards,TG.
