I was always long the Euro, just hedged. The Euro is a core holding for me and do not intend to trade it. I only hedge it by selling covered calls or naked puts. At the moment I am short both covered calls which I will roll over by mid September and short 0.905 and 0.9 puts which I hope will expire worthless.

P.S I almost rolled them over today after the rate cut, but will wait until after labor day. The puts decay is around 220 Euro per day.

Will not read to much into today action as the market is very thin and intra day we have a classic inverse H&S which may have reached it's target.
