Que, As much as I hate to say, the patch is stupid. The time when acquisitions take place is always at the top of the market. Just look at what Marathon paid for Pennaco. Why is beyond me? I guess it's the same reason why no one drills when the drilling costs are less that 1/2 during the boom. When the down turn sets in, the acquisitions normally dry up. You have to be an optimist to survive in this business, but during hard times it's bunker mentality. Maybe with the coffers full this time will be different? Naaaaaaah, never happen. Jim
