Its not my IDF and I would be willing to bet my house that they wont be accepting 12 year olds in to the army in the near future. The footnote - "FOOTNOTE: Currently, the IDF requires all males to report for Reserve duty one month per year until they are 55-years-old. Due to the public discord, however, they are considering decreasing the age limit to keep their troops younger and more in favor of their purpose." Is not what a footnote normally is, info about the source or further explination of a comment. It is a new comment itself that lacks detail and context. It doesn't say anything about what the age limit would be decreased from or decreased to, nor does it have any evidence to support that such a reduction even if it was being considered would be done "to keep their troops younger and more in favor of their purpose". Tim
