Yeah, yeah. If you want to overlook that the pattern is not appearing after a big advance, there's something else interesting about it in the SOX chart: It's an identical three crows pattern, meaning that the open is near the close of the previous bar each day in the pattern. Nison says that's rare, and "regarded as especially bearish."

Hooh-boy. Gloom and doom, huh?

But you'll want to see whether the pattern lasts through the day. There's still nearly an hour and a half of irrational doom and gloom to go.
