Not at the moment. I held 4K shares long until late last year, took a loss at year end to offset earlier profits and to avoid capital gains. I am completely lost as to where to invest now. I am mostly in cash, and I guess I should be glad. I keep thinking that the economy will turn around, but we should be seeing some signs of that soon and it keeps getting worse instead. Maybe 4Q and Holiday spending offers some opportunities. What do you think?

Al, I have made money mostly in non-tech.....biotechs, retail, and oil and gas. Right now I am holding in biotech..imnx, kosp and crxa; in retail, shoo and jakk and oil and gas, kcs. However for the market has sucked real bad. I am still up for the year but just barely.

I think the economy is picking up but apparently the markets don't agree. Granted the pickup is faint at this time but it seems like most expect the economy to go to full recovery in a month.

You're smart to be in cash. I plan to sell some stuff by the end of this week. They say that October and November are some of the best months to play the markets so maybe we will have minor rally this year. <g>

As for the tech sector, the only place I see in which to make some money is flat panels. I am holding pxlw in that sector. Some say the wireless chip companies will come back early as well. Companies like RFMD, NSM, AHAA, ANAD, TQNT etc. I don't know..guess we will have to wait and see.
