DWB:

So what's the historical GAAP P/E for IDCC these days? Looks like they're spiraling into the porcelain black hole at the moment...

I haven't a clue, and haven't looked at their equity prices for a few weeks.. Holding IDCC was free call option in my mind.. And my position was based on the fact that Nokia had not signed a 3G License with Qualcomm.. I bought it @ $9 and sold it @ $12 on the Day Nokia signed a license agreement with Q.. (I told several people of my exit strategy,, Mightylakers, and Maurice.. and I believe I PMed Maurice on the Day of the agreement and told him of my moves).... So, a gain of 30% was not too bad given current market conditions.. I simply played the risk/reward that IDCC provided.. The moment I heard about the NOK agreement.. I sold IDCC..

But, I'll keep the 30%.

Sorry, If I am not into religious investing!!
