Willcousa and Charles,

You never know what's around the corner. When I got my first PC, I was doing some spreadsheets, word processing. I never imagined that I would do my banking, shopping, trading stocks, exchanging notes, sending emails, playing and recording music to CD's, games...

The really amazing thing about PC's is their versatility. They morph into another function when you are not looking. For a while there, the Internet Appliance was going to displace PC's. Not, the PC benefit is versatility, there has never been a product that provided so many different functions. It's unique.

Maybe that's it and nobody will come up with anything else that a PC can do. But that would surprise me.

John

(By the way, it's not cool think PC's are cool)
