I have done a lot of work with MS servers, mainly NT 3.51 and 4.0. I don't have the experience with crahsing that you seem to. If the hardware is right, and the system s designed correctly running carefully sourced software, it doesn't crash.

Because windows is so ubiquitous and easy to use, sometimes people think they are capable of commissioning systems when they are not - and then you get problems. There's a saying in the industry - garbage in, garbage out.
