Because of the boom or bust nature of the sector, those who have weathered the busts have been able to take advantage of the rising tide because of capacity shortages. This next time intel will have plenty of low unit cost capacity to take care of things by itself. So amd will need a product to capture buyer's fancy which they don't seem to have.
