Hmaly, the truth is that AMD has no defined standard on which to base ModelHertz numbers. Instead, they're conjuring up those numbers out of thin air. It doesn't matter whether the numbers are conservative or a flat-out lie. Their only purpose is to destroy the notion that MHz equals performance.

Ask yourself this: What's stopping Intel from labeling their 2.0 GHz P4 as a "Pentium 2500"?
