Fyo, Re: Does this mean the "Athlon XP" name is final? Is this the new name? Probably even AMD doesn't know it at this time... ;-) More seriously: I think to name desktop Palomino Athlon XP is finally a very good marketing decision. Okay, it's still "stolen" (this time from Microsoft) but it's sounds somewhat cool and will be associated with Windows XP. If the latter is a big success, AMD gets a free publicity boost. And if AMD's marketing is really smart (no pun intended <g>) they already have signed some deals with Microsoft for a cross-promotion. (yes, I know that Intel has already signed one) Andreas
