S,

I'm not sure wireless trading is that big of a deal. I started trading online in 1992 via Schwab's Equalizer, which was a direct modem connection and not an internet connection. I moved my accounts from Schwab several years later and went back to touch-tone trading. Just as the Japanese can fire off messages on their cell phone, I adapted.

It is those activities you cannot perform from a cell phone that require wireless data access. The list is extensive. Trading just doesn't happen to be one of them.

PS - I had DJ News online in 1992 too. I was jammin!

Regarding Palm and the like, does anyone know of a multi-line, multi-handset (like Siemens cordless) land line phone that can have its directory synchronized with the Palm desk top? If not, why hasn't someone come up with it? Very tired of updating multiple devices. Palm desk top / hand held synchro is step in right direction - but I don't need a palm hand held / phone combo at $500. What I need is a phone, both wireless and land line, that can have its directory synchronized with my Palm desk top, just like my Palm hand held.
