I wasn't talking about his heart rate!!! Physical condition has nothing to do with addictive personality traits. In fact it may support the thinking that he does need to exert himself physically in a compulsive fashion to help ward off inclinations toward drinking binges. I had a brother-in-law that became a decathlon participant in order to avoid drinking. He was in supreme physical condition but he was still and alcoholic though not a participating alcoholic.
