George W may go down as the President during the worst economic downturn since the depression, rivaling Herb Hoover and Silent Cal. jmho. larry

worst economic downturn? Not likely since GDP is still growing. By the way, every President that past a tax cut was reelected the next term.

The fact that the economy is flat is pretty impressive considering how the economy was in such a bubble a year ago growing at over 5% GDP growth.

Which may be why Al Gore decided eventually to concede the office to Geo. Bush. II.
