and the way I understand it, once an establish trend takes place in the currency markets, they are long term deals...

Indeed interesting, lots of cross current sentiments coming to a head.

Even a small reversal coupled with the enormous current-account deficit could provide for some interesting times in the currency markets.

So there is some evidence to say we have a trend reversal here. Yes?

That and recent highs on equities, there must be a temptation to unload and get the proceeds into local currency imho.
