That's a load of bull. Over the past several years, I've seen very few people on either side of the fence arguing for gauging system performance on CPU clock speed alone.

Sorry, got tired of debating, resorted to a rant.

But if the shoe was on the other foot, if Intel was inventing new performance standards, that were discretionary, limited only by Intel's imagination, the folks on this thread would be having a fit.
