at it's core business mission, ebay is a retailer. just like amzn.
EBAY reminds me of these antique/white elephant shops where dealers can rent a stall and also give a % of their sales to the shop owner. The dealers don't have to be there. Very common in new england. It's retail.



I am not going to debate this. Someone asked my opinion as to where to categorize Ebay. I provided my opinion. Beyond that, I have no financial interest in the stock of Ebay. I personally use them as a Landlord and their technology to help sell my products. For that service I pay them a fee.
