Not that it'll cheer your friend up, but you should tell him that Warren Buffet didn't make the "eight year slump" comments attributed to him. Luc, however, did say something about an eight year melt, but I have only heard that third hand.

Anyone who gets that can see some of my photographs in an article entitled "Autumn Garden"

BTW I do not consider this anywhere near my best work but if you have the chance to browse thru a copy at the newsstand - photo buffs may wish to do so.
