Man, it looked like Cavuto's 12 years old wrote that "article"...

Makes USA Today look like Elisabethan prose..

THIS IS NOT FUNNY AT ALL! The press is really in full swing at hiding the true cause of the current troubles. Not just wackos either: I heard Robert Reich say the same thing tonight. (well not really wacko, is he?)

Skeeter:

How the heck does someone as totally out of touch with reality as this guy is, get to be a "journalist"? Unreal!

Best, Earlie

SkeeterB, I sent this to Neil:
=======================================================
Neil, I've watched Alan G and read his stuff. I remain impressed. People like you misquote him, don't understand what he says - then spout off like spoiled children who can't have a lollipop.

It's funny when people criticize other people, because they inadvertently show more about themselves than the people they criticize, especially if the critic's comments are way off the truth.

What they show is usually detrimental to a good impression of themselves.

I guess you just want to sell what you write and sell Fox. Well, Fox just went down in my ratings [not that it was anywhere anyway] and the first time I read something you've written, it serves as "Don't bother ever clicking on that guy's stuff again".

Alan G didn't bemoan a bubble in 1996. Neither did he call the market irrationally exuberant. You obviously haven't read his speech. I don't think a news person could as it requires more than a 2 second attention span.

He isn't sinister. Sinister is in the eye of the paranoid.

He is none of this "Greenspan is hopelessly, insanely, out-to-lunch, stark-raving mad crazy." But you obviously are since detachment from reality is a hallmark of the stark raving mad.

There were other silly comments you made, but I don't think you want to know about them.

No, I'm not a relative, or any other associate of Alan G. I live in New Zealand and invest in the USA technology market [and have done for almost a decade]. From all I've seen, Alan Green$pan is doing very well in managing the money supply. I have no complaints. His job is to maintain a steady currency. That's all. Not to save the world or make the economy go. He can't do that. All he can do is manage a money supply, which is an essential for a humming economy.

You can read more of my rants here if that wasn't enough for you!

I really do think people casually and ignorantly jump on the anti-Green$pan bandwagon. Read and think a bit more, though I suppose that wouldn't help your ratings with the ignorant who want to hang somebody in effigy to assuage their woes in some Aztec-like human sacrifice to the market gods.
