The Bill of Rights is an excellent start. There are a few areas where it could be beefed up, but overall, an excellent statement of the rights people should have. Its grants and restrictions stem mostly from the experience of the colonists and English history. The English monarchs were quite creative and varied in their viciousness.

Yeah, looks like Mars got it first. I'm going to have to ask him where he got it, because I don't remember where I found.
